Dirghayu Farms Agri Resort is situated on Bhatsa Dam Project Road, 3 kms from Mumbai-Nashik highway on NH-3, and 82 kms (Almost equidistant) from Mumbai & Nashik, at Birwadi, Tal. Shahpur, Dist Thane. The property is approximately 32 acres with road frontage of about 1 kms. Dirghayu Farms Agri Resort is affiliated to MART (Maharashtra State Agri & Rural Tourism Co-op. Federation Ltd.), ATDC (Agri Tourism Development Organisation), MAHABHRAMAN (MTDC) & MAHATOURISM Corporation Ltd. (Joint venture of CIDCO & MTDC).We are proud Achiever of "AGRI-TOURISM APPRECIATION AWARD 2009".

The major plantation is Alphonso mangoes and other varieties of mangoes such as Keshar, Payari, Langda, Malgoba, Totapuri etc. plus other major plantation of Golden Aptusa (Sonchampa), Bulgarian Rose, papaya, chikkoo, jackfruit and multiple plantation of different varieties such as Coconut, Tamarind, Amla, Sitaphal, Lemon, Jam (Love Apple), Guava, Almond, Cashew, Teak, Rudraksh, Sabudana etc.. Also many varieties of Ayurvedic Herbal plantations as Adulsa, Bixa, Neem and many more.

Vermi culture/compost project, plants nursery, fish breeding(small scale) are some of the projects. We have our own tractor, cows, hens and a beautiful duck-pond. We have our own Duttaguru Mandir with garden and many species of floriculture. Most of the plants/trees are labeled showing their scientific and local names. We also go for mixed vegetable farming around the year.

Our periphery is totally secured with barbed wire fencing and covered with shade net. We are equipped with solar/electric lights and electric generator for emergency backup. We generate about 1000 watts of electrical energy using SOLAR MODE and WIND MILL and the same is utilized for domestic consumption daily after sunset. One side of our property is covered with dense forest which is green almost around the year. We have our own wells and tube-well, with water storage tanks for approx.7.5 lakh litres.





We have Bhatsa Dam as our nearest attraction. There is also a huge waterfall (seasonal) nearby (1.50 kms) which can be reached through forest with the help of a guide as a Jungle Trek adventure for tourists. The other nearby destinations are Mahuligadh, Manas Mandir, Ghatghar hydro-electric project, Ajja parvat, Tansa Dam, Vaitarna Dam in close periphery of our resort, the sight seeing packages for which are enclosed herewith.


Our destination is surrounded by nature and it is a total relaxation spot for the tourists plus source of support to agriculture income. We have four independent cottages of 550 sq.ft. each, with hall/bedroom/sit-out/wc/bath and wardrobe. Each cottage is equipped with gas geysers for hot water and Air Conditioner (A/C) & / or air coolers for comfort. We also have single room cottage as well as hut-rooms giving a country-side village feel. We also have three spacious 7-bedded rooms (Dormitories) for group accomodation. Windows of all cottages & rooms are fitted with Mosquito nets and safety grill. For One- day picnic packages we provide resting rooms amidst mango trees & common wash rooms. There are huge dining halls accomodating more than 150 persons at a time, serving veg./non-veg. food prepared fresh in our well equipped kitchen. We have installed a separate UV water filter for drinking water. There is a shoppe catering to the domestic needs of tourists at very reasonable rates. Ample parking space is provided. We have our own nursery which is full of indoor and outdoor plants plus different varieties in flora, ornamental and ayurvedic plants. NOTE :- Drinking / Carrying Liquor NOT Allowed in our Premises.









We have provided different indoor and outdoor games for entertainment. A swimming pool is also provided with essential safety measures. Guided Agriculture tour, tractor-ride, horse-ride, *Guided jungle trek* to enjoy a natural waterfall (seasonal) is provided for tourists. Our resort premises are strictly plastic free and tedious measures are taken to maintain eco tourism concepts. We have an Ayurvedic cure centre for mental / physical stress relaxation combined with Ayurveda treatments / therapies conducted by experts from Kerala.
